Closed-Circuit television (CCTV) systems enhance security of specified locations by providing real-time visual information about the area or space. Video feeds from individual camera locations are fed back to a central location which typically records all inputs and deletes the data after a period of time to allow post-event evaluation of the visual information. The central video feeds may be monitored in real-time by one or multiple operators, and for one or multiple areas, depending on the scheme design. Advanced automated digital video processing may also be employed whereby the system continuously processes video feeds for triggered events such as motion or fire detection.
