Mechanical and Electrical design for installation of three centrifugal chillers with a total capacity of 2,500 tons of cooling. Implementation of Code required “Refrigeration Machinery Room Upgrade” including: ventilation system, refrigerant alarm system, emergency shut down controls, refrigerant emergency release venting, and exiting requirements.
About the Facility:
First Market Tower is a high-rise office building in San Francisco’s downtown financial district at the corner of First and Market streets. The building is 528 feet tall and is the second largest office building by square footage in San Francisco. The structure was completed in 1973.
