About the Facility:
Chuckchansi Park (originally Grizzlies Stadium) is the focal point of Fresno’s downtown area rehabilitation providing a sense of unity and community spirit to Fresnans and Valley Residents alike. The stadium was designed by Populous, the same firm responsible for AT&T Park in San Francisco. The park, completed in 2002, is the home of the Fresno Grizzlies of the Pacific Coast League and the Fresno Fuego of the USL Premier Development League. The park cost $46 million and was constructed from August 2000 to May 2002 by Mauldin-Dorfmeier partnered with Bredson & Associates, Inc., and Advanced Structural Design, Inc. The park has a capacity of 12,500 people, features 600 club seats and 32 luxury suites, and is owned by the City of Fresno.
